Train what you learned on-the-job
During your studies, you will work 20 hours per week (on average) at our company where you will apply and enrich the theoretical knowledge you learned at the university in practical projects. Your engagement at our company is tailored to your university schedule as far as possible in order to deepen knowledge and insights into important subjects. That way you learn how relevant and exciting statistics, modelling, databases, data structures or coding can be.
We will consult you on which classes are most relevant for becoming a market analyst and you will work on fascinating projects. As a leading research and prognosis provider we work at the forefront of both academic as well as practical research projects and have access to a wide range of data and optimization tools. Furthermore, we have highly skilled analysts that will help you getting started and provide valuable guidance. During your trainee program you will work in different departments, covering modeling, statistical analysis, machine learning, and political analysis, while also getting insights into databases and data structures, IT, coding and web-development. At the end of this trainee program you will have gained a profound knowledge and experience in all relevant aspects to a market analyst.
- Just starting a masters degree in Industrial Engineering and Management, Information Engineering and Management, Economics Engineering or similar studies
- Interest in markets, market analysis and forecasting
- Analytical mind-set
- Experience in programming (SQL, Python, Matlab) is an advantage
- Affinity to energy markets is an advantage
